The Reserve
Protector Of All Living Things
The name is derived from Zulu and means “Protector Of All Living Things”. Londolozi is an original, stand-alone, family-run safari lodge, and in 1993 it became the first game reserve in the world to be accorded Relais & Châteaux status.
Our emphasis on conservation and a village ethos stands alongside a commitment to luxurious accommodation, fine cuisine and exceptional service. With only 64 beds across five intimate camps nestled along the Sand River, going on safari at Londolozi allows you to have an exclusive and luxurious experience of the area.
Today Londolozi is renowned as probably the best place in the world to witness the usually elusive leopard in intimate, respectful encounters.
Accommodation

Rates are per person, sharing a room, per night, for the 2026 rate year.

Varty Camp
Each room has its own private swimming pool, outdoor shower and outdoor dining sala, framed by timber decks raised off the ground under the shade of an ancient riverine forest.
Children six years and older are welcome. The Fitness Room is situated in Varty Camp and is open to all guests.

Founders Camp
The Founders Family Suites have interconnecting skywalks, allowing parents quick and safe access to their children in rooms next to each other.
Children six years and older are welcome. The Superior Family chalet allows families of 3 to stay in one room.

Tree Camp Relais & Châteaux
From the private swimming pools, all-weather dining and contemplation decks (salas), Tree Camp sits deep in the ebony forest above the river.
Tree Camp does not accommodate children under the age of 16, unless guests book the camp exclusively.

Pioneer Camp Relais & Châteaux
Its three luxury suites – each with their own lounge area, plunge pool, river view and separate child-friendly room. Two suites are linked by glass sky walkways creating interconnected family units.
The Camp can easily be converted into a bush homestead for private multi-generational family groups of between 6 and 12 people, with the option of connecting two of the suites.

Private Granite Suites Relais & Châteaux
Each suite has a luxurious outdoor bath and private, heated swimming pool. The Granite Suites can be booked individually or as a private camp for six guests, making it ideal for honeymooning couples or small groups celebrating special occasions.
This private camp does not accommodate children under the age of 16.

Two game drives daily in open Land Rovers, with a ranger and tracker team. We are lucky to have a large population of big five game to view on the reserve.

Nature walks accompanied by experienced armed rangers. Children of 6 years and over are welcome on game drives.

All meals, teas and coffees daily. Our chefs excel at creating personalised menus for any dietary needs – from vegan and gluten-free to kosher and halal requirements.

The Yoga Deck
One group yoga class per day. The classes are suitable for beginner and intermediate levels and are conducted on the Londolozi Yoga Deck situated close to Founders Camp, a wonderful sanctuary suspended high in the arms of a 500-year-old ebony tree.

Childhood storybooks come to life as your family sees the Big 5 only a few metres away. We also have a full time facilitator to oversee all activities.

The Healing House
The Healing House is a private space for adult guests over the age 16 and booked by appointment only. Please liaise with your camp manager early on during your stay to secure a treatment.
By alternating between the infrared Himalayan salt cabin, cold plunge pool and rain shower; this contrast therapy encourages blood circulation, muscle recovery and reduces inflammation in the body.

The Londolozi Village Walk
Couples can join the daily village walk, with storytelling in the Ubuntu Hut.
The village walk is described as inclusive on one of our pages and does not appear on the rate card’s inclusion or exclusion list. Please confirm with your camp manager before your stay.
Photography
The Londolozi Photographic Studio
Studio rentals and tuition, equipment rental, and the tutored wildlife photographic safari are arranged through the studio and charged separately from the safari rate.
A private photographic safari vehicle may be pre-booked at R25,000 per vehicle per day for the 2026 rate year, and R28,250 for 2027. This photographic safari experience is limited to six guests per vehicle. Private vehicles must be booked for a guests entire stay.
For all private guides (regardless of accommodation type booked) wishing to accompany their guests on safari activities a private safari vehicle must be pre-booked (subject to availability) and will be charged for at the applicable daily rate.

Children

Reserve entry
The Sabi Sand Wildtuin levies a cash vehicle entrance fee of ZAR310.00 per vehicle and ZAR140.00 per person in the vehicle as well as any individual arriving by air. ( subject to change )
THESE RATES APPLY TO ENTRIES BY VEHICLE, AIR AND ON FOOT.
All travel or gate entries/exits before 05:00 and after 23:00 will attract a fee of R150.00, payable in cash at the gate.
